A bear is on the run after it attacked four people in Fukushima’s Sasakino district on Tuesday, starting with a worker it pinned outside a steel factory before a car drove it off. This comes at a time when Japan recorded 13 bear deaths and more than 230 attacks in 2025 — more than any year on record.
