Dramatic bodycam footage shows UCF student in blue wig dragged away after screaming match
A Florida student was taken into custody by the police on Tuesday after an explosive outburst over being misgendered. Jarrett Vick, a student at the University of Central Florida, suffered a temper tantrum in front of law enforcement, as per journalist Andy Ngo. Despite the officer urging them to lower their voice, Vick lost her calm upon being referred to as a "he" rather than a "she." The officer, whose body cam footage is going viral, warned them that she would be taken into custody if she did not lower her voice.
Vick, however, responded to the warning with an expletive. "F*****g try it," she said, taking the officer by surprise. "Can we get another unit to deal with Jay Lee here. He is having a breakdown," the officer said into his communication device, only to be the recipient of another shouting bout. "She! She! Just say the right pronoun!" Vick screamed.

Many trans extremists believe that non-affirmation of their identity is grounds for…
The officer had had enough and pulled out what seemed like a spray, threatening to use it on Vick. The gesture rattled the distraught student, who tried to leave the room, urging law enforcement to "leave me alone." The officer made the mistake of referring to Vick as a "he" again, as he said, "He's going to be taken away now." This led to the student losing her temper again. "She!" Vick yelled. "I just want to get away from him."
Vick was then seemingly consumed by rage, as she said, "She! She! Stop misgendering me!" The video then cut to the student being escorted inside a police vehicle before being taken away. Vick, who identifies as transgender, was clothed in a black Star Wars t-shirt and had a wig which was partly blue. She also held a brown paper bag. Before getting into serious trouble with the law, Vick had said, "Why do you let those kids get away with this? They are not supposed to be here."

While the incident may have been traumatic for Vick, netizens could not help but be stunned by what they had seen. "Transgenderism really is psychosis. Jarrett Vick of the University of Central Florida goes into a tantrum over "misgendering." This person needs serious help," one person wrote on X. "A 27-year-old transgender Florida student erupted at a campus police officer over being “misgendered” before ending up in handcuffs. Bring back insane asylums," quipped another.
According to the New York Post, Vick was charged with battery on law enforcement, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. The defendant pleaded not guilty on all three charges. When reached out to by the publication, Vick claimed that they were "f*****g harassed by the cops," and also blamed the media for doing the same.
