Thomas Massie responds to Trump' 'worst Republican congressman' remark with Epstein Act mention
The public feud between President Donald Trump and GOP Rep. Thomas Massie escalated on Wednesday as Trump prepared to give a speech near Massie’s home district, where he is endorsing former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein in the Republican primary. Trump, on Wednesday, reiterated that Massie was "the worst Republican Congressman." In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that Massie was worse than "Crazy Liz Chaney, Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger, and Marjorie "Traitor" Brown", who, he said, were "misfits and losers". Trump praised Gallrein, calling him "a great American Patriot."
Reaffirming his endorsement for Gallrein on Tuesday, Trump criticized Massie for voting against the Republican Party, and called him "a true hater of Israel, and a totally ineffective loser who has failed us so badly." Trump said Gallrein was a winner "who will not let Kentucky down." "A Brave Combat Veteran, Ed knows the Wisdom and Courage required to Defend our Country, Support our Military/Veterans, and Ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH," the President wrote in his social media post.
Responding to Trump’s remarks, Massie recalled the release of the Epstein documents, one of several disagreements he has had with the President in recent times. "I predict "President" DJT will begrudgingly sign my beautiful Epstein Files Transparency Act...Oh wait, that already happened," Massie wrote. Kentucky's 4th Congressional District, where Massie is seeking another run, has become a focal point due to Trump's support against the sitting Republican Representative.
I predict “President” DJT will begrudgingly sign my beautiful Epstein Files Transparency Act, causing beleaguered princes and ambassadors and prime ministers and CEOs around the world to be arrested or resign in total shame. While Gallrein has centered his entire campaign on being a reliable vote for the President, saying on several occasions that "President Trump knows who to trust" and pledging to work towards securing "borders, American jobs, and the America First agenda in Washington," Massie, more recently, labelled Gallrein as someone who "betrayed President Trump and the GOP." Massie's most recent disagreement with the Trump administration, however, involves Operation Epic Fury, which the Congressman believes is against the GOP's 'America First' agenda.

and waging war costs American taxpayers about $1 billion per day,
which comes out to $10 per family per day, or $100 since the war began.
This isn’t America First.
In an earlier interview with NBC, Massie contrasted Trump's campaign promises and his administration's recent actions, saying that his supporters are supporting the things "Donald Trump campaigned on actually getting done." "And when they support Donald Trump, they're supporting the man they voted for in the last election," he added. President Trump is expected to tout his administration's economic policies after being welcomed by Gallrein and other Trump supporters in Hebron, Kentucky.

Meanwhile, as the Iran conflict continues to keep gas prices inflated, President Trump announced a $300 billion investment to construct a new oil refinery at the Port of Brownsville, Texas. The President framed the project as a "historic" deal that he said will "power Global Exports, and bring THOUSANDS of long overdue Jobs and Growth to a Region that deserves it."
