Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville issued a rallying cry to members of his party ahead of the upcoming midterm elections in November. He said that it was important for Democrats to win everywhere, and even claimed that at the moment, the worst Democratic candidate would be a better option for the country than the best Republican candidates. He did not hold back in hurling expletives at President Donald Trump.

"Right now we've got to win, and we've got to win everywhere because the worst Democrat is 100 times better than the best Republican...and that is just a fact. Nothing can get in the way of that. Nothing should cloud your judgment. We're not looking for perfection; we're just looking to stop this son of a b***h from taking the whole country down," Carville said. This is not the first time the political strategist has lashed out against President Trump.

In an interview with Christopher C. Cuomo, he had said that the existence of the country was at stake and that President Trump would not hesitate to hurt Americans. "I think the entire idea of the American experiment is about to blow a gasket. I personally believe that this is not a situation where we have Democrats whom I like better and Republicans whom I don't like very much. This is a situation, in my view, that the very existence of this country is at stake here," he said.

The Democratic strategist has also raised questions about the President's health, expressing concern for the President's frequent visits to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center for checkups. "Something is wrong here," he said, as per The Daily Beast. "This guy goes to Walter Reed more than I go to the bathroom. I mean, there's something here that's just not adding up. And I'm not sure that we know what it is, but I suspect at some point we will know."

The White House dismissed such allegations with a strong message. "James Carville is a stone-cold loser who suffers from a severe and incurable disease known as Trump Derangement Syndrome, and it has rotted his peanut-sized brain," White House spokesperson Davis Ingle said. In recent times, Carville has expressed his support for Graham Platner, a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate from Maine.

He believes that it was important for Senate Democrats to have someone in their ranks who has been deployed for multiple combat missions. "The more I think about the Graham Platner thing, the more I see he has value," Carville said. "Graham Platner had four combat deployments....we have to assume that has had some residual effect on him...You know what those four wars have in common? Susan Collins voted for all four," he added.
