'So gross': Marjorie Taylor Greene slams Mike Huckabee over Israel remarks
Marjorie Taylor Greene reacted strongly to U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee after he claimed that the U.S. owed its existence to Israel and its Jewish foundation. Taking to X, Greene shared a clip of Huckabee making the comments, writing, "Huckabee says we owe our very existence to Israel." "We owe or existance to God. So gross. What is wrong with him?" Greene added.
Huckabee says we owe our very existence to Israel.

Uhm… no.
We owe our existence to God.

The former congresswoman has often criticised the U.S. and Israel over the Iran conflict, leading to high gas prices in the U.S. In a more recent post, she hoped that the current peace deal set to be signed by Washington and Tehran would bring an end to this "unnecessary" war. "Americans should be grateful to have spent so much of their own money on high gas prices and inflation caused by the war that is not a war that we won dozens of times and almost have had a peace deal for the 40th time," she said.
I truly hope that the totally unnecessary Iran war, that is not a war, is truly over and peace is achieved.

It’s been incredible that we beat Iran dozens of times and nearly made peace almost 40 times.
It’s only cost upwards of $50 billion, probably more, part of which was…
In a recent interview with Mario Nawfal, Greene also expressed concerns over Israel's course of action with regard to the peace deal. She said that President Trump started the war for Israel. When asked how a foreign country could have so much influence over an American president, the former congresswoman said that it was the question on everyone's mind. She even said that the Epstein files could have something to do with it.
"Does Israel have more information on President Trump? Are there things in the Epstein files that maybe Israel has that they could release so that they are blackmailing the president? I think these are all questions that should be asked, and it’s not wrong to ask these questions," she said.
President Trump, meanwhile, criticized Israel at the G7 summit recently over the situation in Lebanon. Part of the peace deal agreed between Washington and Tehran is that Israel would stop attacking Lebanon. Trump said that he was not happy with how Israel was handling the Hezbollah situation, stating that the conflict had gone on for too long and a lot of people had been killed as a result. "You don't have to knock down an apartment house every time you're looking for somebody, because there are a lot of people in those apartment houses, and they're not all Hezbollah," the President said.
We should’ve stopped sending Israel the weapons to bomb civilian targets years ago. Here’s an apartment building they destroyed with one of our weapons when Biden was President. https://t.co/meghEiScuA

Rep. Thomas Massie, who, like Greene, was once a Trump supporter, responded to Trump's statement by posting that the United States should never have sent weapons to Israel to bomb civilian infrastructure. Greene had shared that clip of Trump and stated that Trump knew Israel was "murdering innocent people, children, and Christians in Lebanon," and that he did nothing to stop it. "He should stop all military and financial aid to Israel, which will stop them from slaughtering thousands of innocents. And Congress must not fuse our military intelligence and supply chain to Israel in the upcoming NDAA," she said.
