Rep. Jason Crow announces 'End Corruption Caucus' with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Mike Levin
Rep. Jason Crow announced on Thursday that he, along with fellow Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Mike Levin, launched a new caucus in Congress called the 'End Corruption Caucus'. In a video posted on X, Crow claimed that the Caucus would go to the root of corruption in the government so that the American people could have faith in the system. "People can reject corporate PAC money. They can say they won't trade stocks when they are in office. They can post their public meeting schedule," he said.
"All these things that will just show leadership by example, and that you should expect of your elected officials. So, we are going to keep the pressure up. This caucus is open for business, and we welcome members to join us in this effort," he added. The Trump administration has been frequently accused by Democrats of corruption and working for the benefit of the rich. Crow himself shared a recent video in which he accused President Donald Trump of unethical stock trading.
Americans deserve a government that works for them, not the elite and corporate special interests.

"No President in American history has traded stocks while sitting in the White House as the President of the United States," he said. "He (Trump) has made thousands of stock trades since he has taken office. 3,700 stock trades amounting to tens of millions of dollars just in the first quarter of this year alone. And then to add to it, he has made stock trades on companies…that he actually took with him on Air Force One over to a recent visit to China."
Crow accused Trump of having split loyalties and major conflicts of interest. He also claimed that Americans needed to know that their President has their interests in mind instead of the companies he might be doing business with. Allegations of the Trump administration being corrupt gained ground recently after the Department of Justice (DOJ) issued compensation to the President for dropping a lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

The compensation included a $1.7 billion fund meant to compensate those who feel they were mistreated under previous administrations. Several Democrats have implied that taxpayer money could go towards paying the President''s allies and insurrectionists who attacked law enforcement during the January 6 Capitol Hill riot. Sen. Chuck Schumer called the scheme corrupt and depraved.
Of all Trump’s corrupt schemes, his insurrectionist slush fund is one of the most depraved.

This ruling is an important win — but the fight is far from over. Democrats will keep fighting in the courts and in Congress to make sure this $2 billion giveaway to cop beaters,… https://t.co/C62cD0sbLY
He had shared a post that stated that a U.S. court had blocked the creation of the anti-weaponization fund. "Of all Trump's corrupt schemes, his insurrectionist slush fund is one of the most depraved," he wrote on X. Another Democrat who is a vocal Trump critic and has accused the administration of corruption is California Governor Gavin Newsom. Taking to X, he cited a number of facts before levelling a corruption accusation against the government.
