'Process is the punishment': James Comey warns key Democratic figures of Trump's 'vengeance campaign'
Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) director James Comey is not holding back his punches when it comes to the Department of Justice's (DOJ) alleged weaponization, warning that key Democratic office holders like former President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton may need to lawyer up and "steel" themselves for a "vengeance campaign."
"I hope they're speaking to good lawyers...because the President is telling the DOJ, an adjunct of his vengeance campaign, to go after these people," Comey said in an interview with Kaitlan Collins of CNN. He claimed that the process is the punishment for the political opponents of the Trump administration.
They've indicted a former FBI Director for posting pictures of seashells on the beach, but NOT ONE PEDOPHILE from the Epstein files has been arrested.

Make it make sense.
Comey's blunt assessment characterizes the DOJ as a tool for executing a personal vendetta against the President's political opponents, signalling an unprecedented shift in the agency's traditional role of legal oversight.
The comments highlight a strategy in which a case's outcome is rendered inconsequential because the investigation itself bankrupts and exhausts the targets. Comey's warning is in line with Trump critics alleging severe erosion in the DOJ's judicial integrity.

"Trump, for whatever reason, is obsessed with retribution in general," Comey continued, suggesting that he is prepared for more indictments in the future. He also lamented how Trump had "torn apart" the DOJ. "It's not going to stop until they're gone from office," he added.

Multiple charges were brought against Comey following an investigation into a photo of seashells depicting "86 47" posted on Instagram. The photo, taken at a beach, constituted a threat against Trump, according to officials. Comey dismissed the charges and said that he was not intimidated by the Trump administration's tactics. Trump called him a "dirty cop" and a "crooked man," telling reporters that Comey created "tremendous danger" for politicians and "probably" put his life in danger.
The interview also touched on Trump's mental acuity when Collins asked Comey whether Trump is still the same person in 2026 as he was in 2017. Comey said that Trump seems different in a "bad way."
Trump had one of his worst mental health episodes yet last night, posting over 55 times in 3 hours. Here is the list:

"He doesn't seem okay to me. It seems like there's something wrong with the man. There was always something wrong with the man. But this seems off," Comey said. "Not different in you redid your hair, different in that you seem nuts, buddy."
Today is Monday. That means trump falls asleep at yet another high profile event with cameras rolling.

Imagine what happens when there are no cameras.
trump is not mentally or physically fit to be President of the United States. https://t.co/TcaAUpLpea
Several questions have been raised about the President's cognitive abilities in recent days. He was allegedly found asleep during the launch of 'Moms.gov', a new government website aimed at encouraging American women to have more children.
