Moe Davis slams Karoline Leavitt after she doubles down on communist claims
Former U.S. Air Force officer Moe Davis launched a scathing criticism of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt after the latter defended her remarks in an earlier interview, where she asserted that communism was becoming a major problem for the United States. Davis called the White House Press Secretary "Karolyin" before sarcastically stating that she was a "Christian Conservative role model" for young women. "Find a millionaire at least 3 decades older than yourself, get knocked up, have a child out of wedlock, then get married, and find a job telling lies that would make Baghdad Bob blush," he scathed.
Leavitt is married to Nicholas Riccio, a real estate developer from New Hampshire who is 32 years older than she is. The two had their first child in July 2024 and got married in January 2025. Their second child was born in May, making her the first White House press secretary to be pregnant while serving.
Tell it, Karolyin’! She’s the Christian Conservative role model for aspiring young women: find a millionaire at least 3 decades older than yourself, get knocked up, have a child out of wedlock, then get married, and find a job telling lies that would make Baghdad Bob blush. Davis' criticism comes after Leavitt defended her Fox News interview, where she had warned Americans that the Democratic Party was experiencing a "full-blown communist revolution," echoing many of her Republican colleagues' sentiments after three progressives backed by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani won their respective primaries. In a lengthy post on X, sharing a video of the interview, Leavitt wrote, "I am seeing a lot of bad faith actors take my comments from this interview out of context. So here's the full interview, and let me expound."
"This interview was about the rise of communism on the Left, and I was asked by Jesse Watters why so many young people are buying the false promise of "free stuff" being sold by communist politicians," the 28-year-old White House Press Secretary wrote. She said that she believed that the answer to this question was "a combination of laziness" and "the liberal indoctrination that has been taking place in our education system for far too long."

The White House Press Secretary also criticised Gen Z for playing a part in the rise of "communism" across the country. She claimed that people in her generation and those younger were raised with "silver spoons in their mouths, just getting everything handed to them." "That's not the values this country was built on," she said, "It was built on meritocracy and hard work, pulling up your sleeves, pulling yourself up from your bootstraps and achieving the American dream—and we need to protect it with all we got."
Her comments, however, did not go down well with critics of the Trump administration. Retired Border Patrol Commander-at-Large Gregory K. Bovino claimed that such a narrative only deepened the divide between those in power and young people in America. "This is the real generational disconnect. The people directing the message simply don't see the stacked deck younger Americans are facing today," he wrote on X.
