Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel took fresh aim at President Donald Trump, dubbing him "Postradamus" after Trump posted the same message about Iran twice in eight days. Kimmel quipped that it meant Trump either didn't know he was repeating himself or he was seeing the future. Kimmel also turned his fire on Trump's glowing self-assessment following a physical examination at Walter Reed Military Medical Center.

The 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' host ridiculed Trump's sensitivity about his physical fitness, questioning why he would go for his "third examination" in over a year if there was nothing wrong. "The reason he went in is because the doctor said, 'Please come in for another exam so we may gaze upon your chiseled body and plump delectable t**ticles'. I'll tell you something: his brain is a rock. He's very sensitive about the idea that he's losing it mentally because that's what he kept saying about Joe Biden," he declaimed.

Trump recently went on a tirade against what he deems the "fake news media" on Truth Social, alleging that they will pass off Iran's total surrender as a victory because they have lost their way and gone "crazy." He made this post first on May 18, 2026, and again on May 26, 2026. He namechecked The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and CNN in both these posts.

Kimmel leveraged humor to say what many political commentators have expressed concerns about. Trump's cognitive ability has been a subject of rife speculation recently, putting a spotlight on something a growing number of Americans wonder quietly: Is the President on top of his game? It is worth noting that Trump has spent years branding Biden "Sleepy Joe," positioning himself as the sharper, fitter alternative.

Another notable aspect of Kimmel's monologue was his dismissal of the Montreal Cognitive Test's efficacy. "First of all, it's incredibly easy. I took it myself. I got a perfect score, no problem. And second, there are no equations on this test. There's no multiplication. There's no division. He's making that up. Even his lies are lies," Kimmel said. Trump has repeatedly asserted in the last few weeks that he took this particular test and passed with flying colors.

Many observers have raised concerns about Trump's mental acuity in the past. Harry Sisson, a known political commentator, characterized Trump's social media activity on Mother's Day (May 10) as a "meltdown" of a "lunatic." Trump, at 79, is the oldest person in American history to take the presidential oath at his second inauguration in 2025. In fact, he will become the oldest sitting president on August 15, 2028.
