'Every word out of his mouth has been a lie': Ex-GOP Congressman Joe Walsh raps Donald Trump
Former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh launched a scathing attack on President Donald Trump on Wednesday, insinuating that he is a liar. Walsh shared a video of the many times President Trump said that he would not have time to play golf if he became President, and wrote, "For his entire life, every word out of his mouth has been a lie." He added that he hoped that Americans would soon grow "tired of being lied to every single day."
For his entire life, every word out of his mouth has been a lie. And the media stopped caring a long time ago that he lies as he breathes. Hopefully one day soon the American people will say they’re tired of being lied to every single day. https://t.co/dMry0GdhUG

Walsh does have some ground for criticism, as since taking office for the second term last year, President Trump has spent 22.4% of his second term golfing. As per DidTrumpGolfToday.com, which tracks the President's golfing schedule using publicly available data, for the first 473 days of his presidency, Trump spent 106 days golfing, costing taxpayers an estimated $148,400,000.
Trump's gold statue unveiled at his Florida golf course
The President's fondness for golf also found shape in the form of a 22-foot-high gold statue of the President on his golf course in Doral, Florida. The Independent reported that Pastor Mark Burns, who presided over the unveiling ceremony, praised Trump in an emotionally charged address. Taking to his X handle, Burns said that it was a moment of "gratitude, honor, and remembrance."

I was deeply honored to lead the dedication event for President Donald J. Trump and the unveiling of the 22-foot statue created in his honor.
This was far more than a ribbon cutting. It was a moment of gratitude, honor, and… pic.twitter.com/sa78VeHWvM
"It also reminds us of the hand of God over President Trump's life. We thank God for preserving him and not allowing his life to be taken, not once, but multiple times," he wrote. "What happened today was more than an unveiling. It was a visible sign of a movement that continues to spread across America and around the world." President Trump even called the pastor on his phone to say a few words of gratitude during the event. "I want to thank Mark Burns, a pastor, he's a good pastor, he's a good man," Trump said. "I've known him a long time, he's been with me from the beginning, right from the beginning, maybe about two days later."
According to a report in the Washington Post, the Trump administration has moved to take control of three public golf courses in Washington, D.C. One of these courses includes the East Potomac Golf Links. Trump and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum are mulling over the possibility of turning the public golf course into a high-end destination, which could host tournaments. Officials from the administration have said that while there will be public access, the goal was to turn it into a "world-class public asset."
According to an Interior Department spokesman, the administration wants to "ensure these courses are safe, beautiful, open, affordable, enjoyable, accessible, and world-class for people living in and visiting the greatest capital city in the world." "President Trump has made affordability a cornerstone of this administration, and this project will be no exception," he added.
