One of the most important lessons in life is learning to turn what seems like senseless pain and suffering into something meaningful for yourself and others.

Wendy, Courage, some people a ashamed to share their problems. Believe me, I was that person pretending that everything was alright but it wasn’t. I was ok physically but I wasn’t mentally. It was like a cancer chewing me up slowly because I was dwelling on it. As soon as I opened up, it was like the weight that was weighing me down suddenly disappeared. I thank God that I can openly share my story to help people know that life is so precious. We need to smile, laugh and be happy, that’s what life is all about.

After reading your post it confirmed something for me that I have been contemplating, that I need to share my story with others, hoping it could be a help to someone dealing with the same issues…and to help me heal.

Sharing experiences is a task. It takes lots of courage for that one person to talk about his/her life story either good or bad. This encourages those who’re going through difficult times in their lives to face the reality. To be strong to overcome the trauma and difficult moments of their life’s. Often people would come to me and ask me for a piece of advise. Whatever advise I give is based on the reality of life experiences that I have gone through. I am happy because I have made someone realise that life is so precious and we cannot allow our past to control us. We attack, overcome and move forward. Never allow negativity take control of your life. It will haunt you for the rest of your life.

I was bullied in middle school yrs of a catholic grade school and the boys made fun of me because I was physically mature before they understood why we change I was a 36 -24-36 and only in 7grade ! I should have been proud of my body and thankful but they made me feel ashamed and made fun of me by walking behind me and calling me (native) I was my dark skinned and I didn’t have kinky hair but they really would torment me in and out of the class room ! It caused me to decide that my real friends I chose were only 3 and they didn’t fit the acceptable mold of everyone else’s idea of cool ! They wee people who didn’t particularly enjoy the normal and were creative thinkers and players not like those who joined together to insult and harass me ! I didn’t date till I was in my very late teens cause I didn’t trust guys then either we’ll it made me realize the pain s of growing up show us who we want to be and prove us to enjoy our passions no matter what others think about us if we are truely happy with ourselves we will prove to attract the right kind of people I choose the imaginative and creative side to living and was happy to teach my kids that successes ful people are positively creative thinkers and imaginative doer of life ! So it all worked to my good and im now 63 yrs old !lessons in living -share what made u you it might help some extra else stand up to there bullies by having a passionate heart for life and the passions you draw from it that make you U ! πŸ’πŸ’ŒπŸŽˆ

Everything we go through is meant to happen because of the choices we make… basically if you know what the bad experience taught you forgive yourself and move on be greater than your own flaws recognize them. I know people who unconciously do mistakes over and over please after you read my comment my friends please please become greater than you were yesterday. Thank you and God bless! πŸ™‚

After 30 years of verbal abuse and constant negative feedback, I am learning to recognize that what he attacks is my strength, his self doubt comes out as put downs, trying to make me doubt what i am capable of. I was happy, I overcame the pain and sufferings I had gone through in life. This had taught me the reality of being positive towards the challenges being faced daily. Being strong to face this obstacles is not easy. I have cried so many times asking myself, if I have ever done something wrong to deserve this pain or was marriage meant for me. I have ask myself lots of question that I need to answer myself. You have to face the reality, do you want to dwell on the sufferings or would you like to forget it and replace it with a new mindset? It is not easy, trust me. Respect, Trust and believe in yourself and you will be happy always. I did.

We must remember the past for it is what made us who we are. The harder the past, the stronger we become. Learn from it and apply it to the present. Don’t let the negative make your future the same as your past.

I have to learn not to worry about what other people think bc I, when young was criticized and bullied as a child. I just don’t know where to begin bc I have always had a dark cloud over my head and can’t be myself. One thing I am and keep is my sense of positivity… That’s Prob what gets me through all the trials and tribulations ordeals I have been through
