Every dis-ease/illness has its mental equivalent. 70% of dis-ease is not frm bacteria…lifestyle check is necessary . We only have one body & 1 life to live so why brood? A situation becomes a problem because we can’t accept. Try to look it up: the mental equivalents of dis-eases.

To David Caldwell: Our attachments to people, places, material things, situations, events etc lead to suffering. Some examples are mentioned in your comments: separation from the ones we love while alive or by death. if i may add, birth/aging/dis-ease(sickness), Death, being with the person u don’t like, desiring of things we can’t get & mental irritation all lead to suffering. Memories are good reminders but to dwell on it isn’t good…If you want to be happy don’t dwell in the past, you’ll just bd trapped in it; to think of the future is good but it is uncertain. Be in the present, the very moment you are now because it is the only time we have. Treat the past as your stepping stone & lessons learned, use them in the NOW because it will determine your future. As wiyh regards to money, money is just a medium of exchange for our needs like food, clothing & shelter. It is neutral…it has no mind. it depends on the person’s mind who has it. Money is not the root of evil. It is the mind that is & our body is the reservoir of sins. Plant the good & just be happy…but don’ t attach yoursrlf to it. Everything is impermanent & Empty.

David Caldwell wow. Such negative comments in your posts. Their Facebook page is always full of positive posts which has helped me. I am a mother who lost my only daughter last year and I am so glad that my friend sent me positive post from this Facebook page or I would still be at home depressed about my daughter getting killed. No one is ever the same after the loss of a loved one but we all must still live life. Better to stay in a positive frame of mind, be kind to others and help others then be miserable which is not healthy at all.

The Royal way is to kill and take everything for yourself.

This treacle costed nonsense. Non reactivity? Non attachment? So a mother who loses her child… A sister who loses her brother… A child who loses its parent… Yeh, they’ll live with grace and ease. Ruth Bird, I was being molested by my father, her husband. She blamed me as a child for causing it to happen. Remember back in the 60’s & 70’s good ole Sigmund Freud thought women and children fantasized about having sex with their father. It was most definitely self destructive behavior but I had no control over what my parents were doing or the lack of the authorities, holding my parents accountable for their criminal behavior. Neither of my parents were capable of being a force of good in their own life’s let alone in a child’s life. My mother was shaming me instead of shaming herself and my dad because she didn’t want to lose the kind of lifestyle she was afforded with my dad. In my opinion, negative behavior is never acceptable especially when it comes to parenting children.

I agree Cecilia..I was just thinking today how when attacked I defend myself and defend myself and it isn’t necessary. ..I defend until.im blue in the face and frustrated but the one putting you down will only think of another reason why they are right and you are wrong until what you were defending becomes ridiculous..and you feel.anxiety inside ..over what ? Something you probably can’t remember after a while anyway..now your brought to their level and you feel bad.about yourself. .not empowered..leave the person to their feelings..their allowed ..walk away with your self respect.intact…they didn’t beat you..they win when they get a reaction from you. .when you don’t react, you defuse the incident

I’ve been removing negative & toxic ppl from my life and I’m learning to ignore the negativity from my family and they have seen a change bc I walk away or don’t say anything back to them. My family has always been abusive to me for many many yr (since 4 yrs old) I ONLY speak to my family bc of my NIECE. But anyways, I’m learning to take care of ME

I’m elderly, mildly disabled and housebound since I had to give up my car of mpre than 10 years a little more than 2 years ago. A wheel was starting to fall off after an accident 3 years earlier. So my daughter takes me around to errands once a week. I live in a small town in southeast Michigan and am not interested in a social life outside my small family. I just don’t feel I have 99% of the problems generally mentioned. I made a comment. Maybe I shouldn’t have.
Oh. I’m also retired the past 4 and half years from portrait studio work.
